For new readers, hello! This newsletter is designed to help you find inner strength during tough times, big and small. I look at the intersection of science, pop culture and personal storytelling to find the space where we can grow and flourish, even in our hardest moments. If you’re not already, please subscribe. And if you’re on the list, please share!
Happy Friday!
This week’s post is a short one. My “plan” was to share the first video in the series I’m creating, but evidently the timeline for that is, “not yet.” Video editing takes so long, y’all! And I know this! I’ve done this before! And yet, I still almost always fail to give myself the time it takes to do pretty much anything. Alas.
But I am still sharing a bit of inspiration for your weekend. This inspo tidbit comes from someone who knows quite a bit about perseverance, getting through tough times and who is the very essence of England’s essential maxim—Keep Calm and Carry On— Winston Churchill. I saw this quote from him this week and it stuck with me, as good quotes are wont to do:
If you’re going through hell, keep going.
- Winston Churchill
That’s it.
Just a simple reminder that we have to keep going. Even when it’s really bad. Especially when it’s really bad.
Keep moving forward, keep pushing on.
Step-by-step.
Until next time,
xxM
